Stay signed in with Google

• "Keep me signed in on this device" now works when you sign in with Google. The tick used to be lost on the way to Google and back, so the session always ended when you closed the browser.

Small things that were wrong for a long time

• The tick inside a ticked checkbox is now actually centred. The box was aligned; the drawn tick inside it was not.
• The YoungNug logo now sits in exactly the same place on every page. It used to sit at five different positions depending on the page.
• The jobs list responds noticeably faster, and later pages cost no more than the first.

The Companion says hello properly

• The extension popup greets you by first name once connected, stops showing your email, and the stop control is one clear button rather than a switch.
• Captured search-results pages can no longer sneak in dressed as a single job advert. One SimplyHired search page had been doing exactly that.

Search all sites, with you in control

• A new "Search all sites" panel on the jobs page opens real searches on Indeed, LinkedIn, Gradcracker, NHS Jobs and more, in your own browser tabs, collected into one tab group. It only ever runs when you press it, you can see every tab it opens, and each site allows one search a day.

One footer everywhere

• Every page now shares one footer with the same links and a cookie preferences control. Two pages previously had no way to change cookie choices at all. Legal pages are easier to read on wide screens.

Filters that tell the truth about language and pay

• Adverts that require a language you have not said you speak are hidden by default, each with its reason shown, and one click brings them back.
• A new "Pay stated" filter hides adverts that state no pay at all, and tells you what share of adverts that removes.
• Your Profile and Applications pages were rebuilt with one consistent way of editing everything.

Search that ranks what you meant

• Search results now rank title matches above body-only mentions, so searching "finance intern" no longer buries the actual finance internships.
• If collection has been asleep, the jobs page catches up by itself and says how many new jobs arrived.

Where each job came from, on every job

• Every advert shows its source site, the source filter works everywhere, and a Refresh control re-checks an advert politely. When a site does not allow re-checking, the advert says "Could not tell" rather than guessing.

The Companion reads the big boards

• The browser extension can capture job listings from Indeed, LinkedIn and Glassdoor search pages in your own browser session, and duplicates are removed on arrival.
• A "Posted within" filter narrows the list to the last day, three days, week, fortnight or month.

Employers can now post roles directly

• Employers can create a verified account, post a role, and see the applications students choose to send them. Every listing is checked by a moderator before any student sees it, and employer-posted jobs are clearly labelled.
• If you apply to an employer-posted role, a consent step names the employer and lists exactly what will be shared. Nothing is sent unless you confirm, and your profile, edits and documents stay yours.

Import your profile from LinkedIn

• A new "Import from LinkedIn" option on your Profile and during onboarding pulls your roles, education and certifications from your own LinkedIn profile using the browser extension, so you do not have to retype them. It reads only your own profile, in your own browser.

Ideas for describing your experience

• Stuck on what to write for a job you have done? The experience editor now suggests example duties for common student jobs, such as barista, retail and tutoring. Pick one to get an editable starting point. You fill in the real details, and nothing is saved until you have made it true for you.

Jobs arrive by themselves

• You no longer press a button to collect jobs. New listings are gathered automatically in the background, and the jobs page shows when the last sweep ran.
• Search now looks inside the full advert text, not just the title, and the search bar leads the page.
• The jobs list is faster, and your first jobs view after signing in is pre-loaded.

Profile forms rebuilt

• All profile, wizard and guided-setup forms now use one consistent set of fields with clearer states.
• GCSEs support double awards and different qualification types (GCSE, iGCSE, BTEC Tech Award), and your UCAS tariff shows one combined total including BTEC points.
• Sixth form and college are treated as one thing, so nothing you entered is lost either way.
• Marking a certificate as having no expiry now clearly disables the date field and says why.

Applications and Activity in one place

• The Journal has merged into Applications as its Activity view, so your pipeline and your history live on one page. Old links still work, and the mobile navigation is down to four tabs.

Better support for Google sign-in accounts

• If you signed up with Google you can now set a password, use Settings fully, and delete your account, confirmed through Google. Every account type has the same rights over its data.

A tidier jobs page

• The jobs page now has one filter row, an aligned score column, and a clear apply action on each listing.

Small fixes

• Pages share consistent edges, the deeper insight cards are easier to read, the job source label no longer overlaps the applied date, the phone country selector shows its full label, and the pound sign appears where it belongs.

More graduate schemes to search

• Listings now include more graduate schemes and early-careers programmes collected from large employers' own career sites, tagged by sector so you can focus on the industry you want.

Sign in with Google

• You can create an account or sign in with Google as well as with an email address and password.

Extra protection for your documents

• The text of your CVs and cover letters is now encrypted at rest, the same protection as the rest of your sensitive profile data.

Fairer matching for everyday jobs

• Everyday roles such as retail and hospitality now count as entry-level, so they are matched properly for school leavers and students, and listings are gathered from more places.
